STI Nanochrom

STI Nanochrom® combines the features of hard chrome with additional functionalities on the basis of chemical nanotechnology. This creates custom-tailored surfaces with easy-to-clean effect, high wear, corrosion and temperature resistance of up to approximately 300°C. The anti-adhesive cover coating on the hard, structured chrome layer prevents highly viscose fluids from adhering to the coating and facilitate cleaning of the surface. Extended product lifetimes and cleaning intervals result in vast savings. In combination with other STI Group coating systems, STI Nanochrom® is equipped with application-specific additional functionalities, which are particularly useful for water-repellent areas of application. In particular, parts such as converting cylinders, casting rollers, pulleys and guide pulleys, paper guide rollers, die gaps or mouldings are treated with STI Nanochrom®.
