STI | Hartchrom is one of the few surface treatment technology specialists to carry out various mechanical manufacturing processes under one roof. Our specialist team grinds and polishes both small and XXL parts meeting highest standards with the most modern CNC-controlled grinding machines and plants. To achieve the greatest possible profitability and required quality, STI | Hartchrom carries out all of the mechanical processing in addition to the whole process chain from pre-treatment to surface treatment and post-processing. 

STI | Hartchrom's grinding shops for large and medium-size parts contains some of Europe's largest and most modern grinding machines. They are used for various processes in adherence to the narrowest tolerances and roughness values - even for XXL components. In addition to CNC-controlled grinding machines, a variety of measuring technologies are available to our experts.

Special polishing procedures enable STI | Hartchrom to give your surfaces a mirror finish surface or a roughness of Rmax <0.05µm, respectively, if required. STI | Hartchrom provides the following services:

• extra fine grinding: CNC circular grinding with polishing discs
• "super finishing" super (honing): Polishing with vibrating advance by means of belt, stones or emulsions/suspensions, respectively

With its multifunctional lathing and cutting centre STI | Hartchrom is able to offer complete parts processing in a single clamping step.
