Hard chrome surface treatment technology is particularly suitable as a surface treatment procedure because of its outstanding wear resistance, the high level of hardness – without warping the base materials – the good bonding characteristics, the anti-adhesive properties and the low friction coefficient. In addition to or in combination with hard chrome coatings chemical nickel coatings are applied - in particular if geometries of complex forms need to be coated dimensionally correct and with identical contours.
