In this sector, STI | Hartchrom AG Steinach and STI | Hartchrom Schoch GmbH are global market leaders and have been successfully maintaining this position – through the ongoing development of new technologies and adjusting to the printing industry's special requirements.

STI | Hartchrom optimises components such as printing, rubber, plate or coating impression cylinders. The impact of aggressive substances like paint or detergents require the highest possible level of resistance to corrosion. In addition, the cylinders not only need to be dimensionally accurate down to the last micrometre but also have immaculate surfaces to ensure the highest printing quality. STI | Hartchrom has developed a system from the specifically optimised hard chrome coatings and CNC grinding procedure, which offers the highest level of resistance to corrosion and is fully non-porous (even on castings).
