The non-porous and ductile matt nickel coating boasts outstanding corrosion resistance, even under the effects of chlorides and hydrochloric acid (but not nitric acids). Further characteristics include the levelling effect, the ductile properties under stress, a coating thickness with virtually no upper limit, good mechanical stress resistance and the good temperature resistance of up to 550°C. In addition, the nickel coating is particularly suitable for partial coatings and as a "repair coating". Compact and crack-free coatings can be deposited with little effort. The matt nickel coating's Vickers hardness is 200 - 250 HV.

Upon request the following versions are possible:

  • Hard nickel
  • Electrolytic nickel-phosphor for outstanding corrosion protection, hardness 650HV, non-magnetic
  • Nickel silicon carbide dispersion coating (Ni-SiC), good corrosion protection and outstanding wear resistance
