Chrome-ceramics

Embedding ceramic particles in hard chrome coatings improves the wear resistance, the thermal stress resistance, the hot hardness and increases lubrication. The chrome-ceramics procedure is particularly suitable for simply formed parts such as piston rings or piston crowns in large Diesel engine production.
